Akshay Kumar pens a heartfelt message for Prithviraj director Chandraprakash Dwivedi, also congratulates all the Padma Awardees
On the note of 73th Republic Day of India, the Government revealed the recipients of the coveted Padma Awards. Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, Olympians Pramod Bhagat, and Vandana Kataria, director Chandraprakash Dwivedi, musician Sonu Nigam, and veteran actor Victor Banerjee will be soon honored with their respective award.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar took his Twitter handle to congratulate all the awardees and also wrote a sweet message for his upcoming film’s director Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Akshay Kumar wrote, “Heartwarming to see some great names in the #PadmaAwards list. Amazing achievers from Science, Armed Forces, Sports, Industry, Art… And of course my director friend Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Super proud.”

Back in 2009, Akshay Kumar was also felicitated with the Padma Shri award, the fourth-highest civil honour by the Government of India. Akshay was honoured with this award for his utmost contribution to the Indian Cinema.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar’s most awaited action comedy film Bachchan Pandey is all set to release on 18th March 2022. Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also stars Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez. Apart from this, the actor is quite busy with multiple projects some of his films that are in pipeline are, Prithviraj, Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, and OMG 2 – Oh My God!
