The government has banned the film in the country and other parts of the Middle East. The film will not be able to be screened at these places. The Middle East nations have put a ban on this film only for the fact that it is based on a gay love story and things like these are considered as a taboo things in these places.
So, there is nothing personal about the ban behind this film as it has a taboo issue to deal with that has made the authorities to ban the film. The fact is all such movies with a same-sex love story or gay romantic films are banned in the Middle East nations as they have the rule in its default. As per the sources, they knew the film was based on such an issue hence it was to be banned.
The B Town lovers wanted to watch this film but they failed to do as issues like the gay love story are not normal in Dubai or any other Middle East nation. Even the makers offered to cut down the smooth kiss part from the film, this barely convinced the people around.
