It was a sad weekend for the makers of the film Kissebaz as it failed at the box office. Despite the interesting story and good acting of the lead stars, the film failed to get a decent review that has somewhere hampered the collection at the box office. The film happens to be a political drama, which had a debutant director. It has an interesting star cast but it failed to garner good reviews since it proved out to be a niche film thus hampering the collection at the box office.
As per reports, the film Kissebaaz scored 0.20 Crores on the first day, while the second day did witness some escalation but to a minimal level scoring 0.30 Crores. Sunday, however, witnessed a decent surge but it did not make much difference with the collection inching to 1.0 crores. So, the 1st-weekend box office collection for Kissebaaz went to around 1.5 Crores, which was nothing but a poor show for the makers. The reasons were obvious, low promotion and no high star value.
Also, the other big reason was the release of Hollywood film – Man In Black International or MIB International also attracted a sea of the audience from the B Town to catch it. Also, the other film Game Over starring Taapsee Pannu too turned hurdle for the makers and rest of the damage was incurred by the Salman Khan starrer film Bharat. So, with all the hurdles coming in its way, the film Kissebaz has no rescue at the box office as it remained pitted down at the box office.
