Kishwar Merchant who is now known as Kishwer Merchant Rai is a model and Indian actress. She was born on 3rd February 1981 in Mumbai and was raised in this city. She did her schooling and college from Mumbai. After completing her education, she headed to the TV world to become an actress. Her first TV show was Shaktimaan and she played the role of Julia the assistant of the lead actor. However, her fame came with the other TV show Hip Hip Hurray aired on Zee TV in 1998 wherein she played the character called Nonie. In 1999 she was seen in X Zone in an episodic role. Soon she got another TV show called Babul Ki Duwayen Leti Jaa playing the role of Malvik aired on the same channel.

Since then it was no looking back for the TV actress.
