Flying Frames Productions, Raahi Productions & Excruciating Films launched the pre poster of Trinayan Sharma’s “The Various Counsellors” in Sironj (MP)
The pre-poster of The Various Counsellors was launched in Sironj (MP) amidst the presence of director Trinayan Sharma, Producers Raj Gill and Dharmendra Ahirwar who is also the lead actor in the movie. Local party leader Gabbar Singh was in attendance as well as Trinayan’s associate Sumith Pandey and Praween Pandey, a core member of the team.
Trinayan said he wants to give chances to the local theatre artists who are well versed with the language and ways of living there. He said his only focus is to shoot in raw locations. He said when we build a set, something or the other thing might miss out but when we will shoot in raw and authentic villages will bring out the best results.
Raj Gill who is the cinematographer of the movie apart from being a co-producer said he is thrilled to shoot in the scenic villages of Mughalsarai and Kaansi. He said the structures of these houses will add another dimension to the making. He was quite fascinated by the well mannered villagers and the general crowd of Sironj who didn’t say no to anything.
Dharmendra Ahirwar who is the lead actor of the movie apart from being a co producer said he wants to emphasise and show the real India (the villages). His motive is also to develop a core group of actors who don’t have to rely on travelling to larger cities for work. If we generate enough films here then they will get enough chances here to survive and show their craft.
Trinayan Sharma is the owner and founder of Excruciating Films. Trinayan’s Antardwand, Manjari, Do Tarfa Sach, Nazariya, Laaltain and many short films are streaming on various platforms such as MX, Hungama, Hotstar, Airtel Xstream, Vodafone Play, Tata Play. His series Strategy as a director and Sopakh (Assamese) as a co-producer is also streaming on Hungama Play and other platforms. His upcoming works include a documentary on Lalabaugcha Raja where he has worked as an editor and a few films and series on the pipeline. Trinayan is bestowed with Assam Cultural and Sports award two times in consecutive years and a prestigious Assamese award Enajori Bota for his album Bisaru Tumake and O Phagun respectively. He has also won best theme for Ek Jhalak Ek Aas in MIFF, best story for Nazariya at Northeast India International Film Festival, Best upcoming director for Do Tarfa Sach at Vidarbha International Film Festival, Best Director for Antardwand at Everest International Film Festival among other awards. Trinayan’s upcoming feature film A hole in my shoe also holds the record for the smallest hand made poster.
Similarly Dharmendra has worked in short films Unblock, Hatya streaming on various platforms.. He also did a couple of television soap operas. He is the founder and owner of Raahi Productions.
Raj Gill and Trinayan Sharma have collaborated in various projects such as Shit Happens (about to release), Laaltain, A lonely night, Do Tarfa Sach, Ek Jhalak Ek Aas for which they won five awards among other works. Raj Gill has also Produced more than ten short films like Tezaab, Farishta, Shades of love, khushiyon Wali Diwali etc. His short film Farishta won the best concept award at VIFF film festival and is streaming on ott platforms. He is the Owner and Founder of Flying Frames Productions and planning to launch his own music label. Raj Gill and Trinayan Sharma are also coming up with a web series named Saheb Biwi aur Ex which is gonna be a Rom Com entertainer.
The Various Counsellors is helmed by Divya Prakash who has been involved as an associate with Trinayan since 2012 onwards. Trinayan said he trusts Divya’s process of writing. Once he was ready with the story, he didn’t have second thoughts about whom to go for the screenplay, hence Divya Prakash came on board. He is also the creative director of the movie.
The Various Counsellors have a relatively new star cast. “Dharmendra Ahirwar and Pooja Kandare play the lead characters in the film, among others (details not disclosed).” Additionally, Sanit Swami is part of the cast and also served as the casting director, responsible for selecting actors for the film. Moreover, Sumit Pandey is on board as an associate director, and Praween Kumar Pandey is involved in the production as well. Stay tuned for further updates.
