KGF 2: Kangana Ranaut compares Yash to Amitabh Bachchan, here’s why!

KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, and Raveena Tandon, was launched in theatres last week to a resounding reception from the public. Kangana Ranaut has joined the list of celebrities who have praised the actor for his performance.
The action film, which was released on April 14, grossed 134.50 crores on its first day. The directorial debut of Prashanth Neel has achieved the unfathomable by scoring a century in just two days. Yash plays Raja Krishnappa Bairya called Rocky, a mafia figure who takes over a gold-smuggling business in the film.
Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram, praising the Kannada actor Yash and compared him to megastar Amitabh Bachchan. On Instagram stories, she wrote, ”@thenameisyash is the angry young man India was missing since man decades…He fills that void which Mr Amitabh Bachchan left since seventies… Wonderful (clapping emojis).”
After roles in films such as Don, Deewar, Shakti, and Agneepath in the 1970s and 1980s, Amitabh Bachchan got the moniker “angry young man.” She also appreciated Ram Charan, NTR Jr., and Allu Arjun from the south. Sharing a collage of the stars, she wrote, “South superstars are grounded and deeply rooted in their culture… Apart from their talent and hard work their authenticity is what strikes the chord with the audience…”
