Karan Kundrra, Shehnaaz Gill and more express their grief on Sidhu Moosewala’s tragedic death
Recently, Punjabi singer and Punjab Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala was shot. The singer was found dead on Sunday at Jawaharke in a firing accident. According to the reports, the two were injured with 30 rounds of firing, Sidhu was rushed to the civil hospital in Mansa.
Soon after this news broke, our television stars took their social media handles to pay condolence to the singer’s death. TV actors including Shehnaaz Gill, Karan Kundrra, Himanshi Khurana, Pavitra Punia, actress Nikki Tamboli, comedian Bharti Singh, and actors Sargun Mehta, Jasmin Bhasin, Kanika Mann, and others also mourned his death.
Shehnaaz Gill took her Instagram handle and wrote, “Kise da jawaan dhee ya putt es duniya toh chala jaave, es toh vadda dukh koi nhi ho sakda duniya te. Waheguruji mehar kareyo #sidhumoosewala.” Himanshi Khurana took to the stories section of Instagram and wrote, “Om Shanti.” Karan Kundrra on his Twitter handle wrote, “Terrible news coming in from Punjab.. this is not right RIP #sidhumoosewala you legend.! Angry and sad !”

“Three people were brought to the hospital, of whom Sidhu Moosewala was dead. After giving primary treatment, the two injured have been referred to a higher institute for further treatment,” Dr Ranjeet Rai was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Expressing its condolence, Congress said Moose Wala’s “murder” came as a terrible shock to the party and the nation. “The murder of Shri Sidhu Moose Wala, Congress candidate from Punjab & a talented musician, has come as a terrible shock to the Congress party & the entire nation. Our deepest condolences to his family, fans & friends. We stand united & undeterred, at this time of extreme grief,” the party tweeted from its official handle.
