KBC13: Amitabh Bachchan calls Genelia Deshmukh to fulfill a contestant dream
Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 has become one of the most popular reality shows ever since it started. Well, we have often seen Sr. Bachchan fulfil many people’s dreams within no time on the show. The last episode saw something similar megastar Amitabh Bachchan fulfil the dream of one of its contestants by calling up actress Genelia Deshmukh.
Contestant Pankaj Kumar Singh from Chhattisgarh, who came on the hot seat revealed that he had ankylosing spondylitis. The participant was overjoyed to be a part of the show, and his parents broke down in tears when they saw him on the hot seat.
Talking about his likes, Amitabh Bachchan asked Pankaj about his favourite actor in which he said he doesn’t have a favourite but he likes an actress a lot.
He said that he is a tremendous fan of Genelia Deshmukh. Mr Bachchan mentioned on the show that Genelia starred in many ad ads before joining the film industry, and her first TV commercial was with him.
Pankaj won Rs 3,20,000 on the show, he told Big B that this is the first earning of his life. He also said he would give the money to his parents, adding he wants to buy a new phone.
Amitabh Bachchan, on the other hand, had a special surprise in store for Pankaj, telling him that he would be giving him a new phone and a tripod. He then fulfilled his second wish.
Amitabh Bachchan dialled up Genelia, it was a fanboy moment for Pankaj Kumar Singh as he couldn’t believe his luck when he saw her on the video call. He said, “All my dreams are getting fulfilled today. There is nothing more to achieve in my life now.”
He also told her that she is his first love, crush and everything. Big B then asked Genelia to get husband Riteish Deshmukh on the call. Pankaj believes they are the epitome of a great couple, and he prays to God that they remain happy together forever.
Pankaj took home a sum of Rs 12,50,000.
