Actor Kay Kay Menon, known for his ability to transform into any character, says he plays people, not roles. As Kay Kay is gearing up for the release of his upcoming web series, Bambai Meri Jaan, in which he will play the role of an honest cop, we hear him speaking about it. In an interview, Kay Kay said that he does not see his characters as roles, but as real people. Kay Kay is a versatile actor who has played a wide range of characters, from the villain in Special 26 to the cop in The Family Man. He is known for his intense performances and his ability to bring characters to life. We are very much sure that Kay Kay will do justice to the role of the honest cop in Bambai Meri Jaan. The series is set in the 1960s and tells the story of a cop who is trying to clean up the city of Mumbai. I am looking forward to seeing Kay Kay in this new avatar.

He further clarified things stating – “I don’t think of characters as roles. I think of them as people. I try to understand their motivations and backstory in order to bring them to life.” “I’m not interested in playing the same character over and over again. I want to challenge myself and try new things.” “I’m always looking for ways to improve my craft. I read a lot, I watch a lot of films, and I talk to other actors.”

Meanwhile, the makers have also released the trailer of the said series this Monday and it has gained a good response from the audience and critics alike. Kay Kay Menon has played the role of a cop on screen before, but he says that the audience will see a difference in his role this time. Bambai Meri Jaan is directed by Rensil D’Silva and Shujaat Saudagar, and it is produced by Excel Entertainment. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 17, 2023.
