On Saturday night, Alia Bhatt was joined by superstar Ranveer Singh to promote the first song from her upcoming magnum opus ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi,’ titled ‘Dholida.’
Alia Bhatt is busy promoting her upcoming magnum opus, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi,’ as she waits for it to be released.
The 28-year-old actor was recently spotted promoting the film’s first single, “Dholida,” which was released on February 10.
Ranveer Singh, her ‘Gully Boy’ co-star, surprised her by joining her during the promotions.
Alia shared a video of herself shaking a leg with Ranveer Singh on ‘Dholida’ on her Instagram stories.
Sharing the video, Alia Bhatt wrote, “also look who graced us with his star presence”.

The two stars reenacted the hook step together, with Ranveer dressed casually and Alia looking stunning in a white floral saree.
For the uninitiated, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ also stars Ajay Devgn in a significant part.
The period drama stars Alia as the lead character of Gangubai, one of the most powerful, loved, and revered madams from Kamathipura during the 1960s, and is based on one of the chapters from acclaimed author Hussain Zaidi’s book, ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai.’ On February 25, 2022, the film will be released in theatres.
Apart from ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, Alia’s future projects include ‘Darlings’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Brahmastra’. She will be reuniting with Ranveer in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur RKi Prem Kahani’ after the duo starred in Zoya Akhtar’s blockbuster hit ‘Gully Boy’.
