After a much furors, the film of Nikhil Advani called Katti Batti has finally hit the theatres. This makes his back to back movie on the very same month followed by Hero. The film though was expected to get a decent opening considering the modern day Live in relationship story; however, nothing really was seen in terms of occupancy, which remained low all the day. The film starring Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan was seen getting a low reviews, which in a sense has given a bad impression of the film among the audience who rely on these rave reviews before catching up any film.
As per reports, the 1st day box office report tolled to around 4 crores, which is not the figure, which Nikhil and his team has been expecting on the day one. Though the film had a good buzz in the media, thanks to the heavy promotion and decent trailer, which attracted good amount of views, yet it failed to give the expected collection over the box office.
The romantic comedy had a bad day, which will remain the same in the coming first weekend of the film feels most of the critics and trade pundits. The other movies releasing – Meeruthiya Gangsters and MSG 2- The Messenger the same day had least attract and thus hamper Katti Batti.
