As Katrina Kaif gears up for her next film Bharat with Salman Khan, we also hear that she has given her consent for Rohit Shetty’s next cop drama film called Sooryavanshi. So, after Singham and Simmba, the filmmaker is back with yet another cop drama movie called Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar who is playing the ATS Chief in it. In fact, the makers have announced the same at the end of the film Simmba showcasing the first look poster of the film Sooryavanshi having Akshay Kumar in the cop role.
Now, we hear Katrina Kaif joining the cop bandwagon belonging to Rohit Shetty having Akshay Kumar in the key role. The film remains the most awaited films in B Town as it brings Akki and Kat together after a long gap. They have worked in several movies together like Namastey London, Welcome and few more. The earlier cop drama movies including both Singham and Simmba have done well at the box office and hence to expect the film Sooryavanshi to do well would be a fair deal.
The earlier two films had Ajay Devgn (Singham 1 and 2) and Ranveer Singh in Simmba. The next film Sooryavanshi will be produced under the banner called Reliance Entertainment in association with Dharma Productions, Rohit Shetty Picturez and Cape of Good Films. This will be Katrina Kaif’s first film with Rohit Shetty and it will bring back the on-screen chemistry between Kat and Akshay Kumar after a long gap.
