Ram Setu: The film’s Shoot Goes on Hold as Akshay Test Positive
With the increasing number of cases of Covid 19 cases in Mumbai in a rampant way, we have seen the shooting for various films being affected a lot. The limited crowd shooting since July 2020 has remained on the floor and we see many people are getting positive for the virus day in and day out. As the second wave has hit tough, we see the celebrities also getting affected the most. These include Akshay Kumar as well.
The moment the actor was tested positive for the virus, we had reports suggesting that around 46 junior artists have been affected with this virus. Soon there were reports that Akshay Kumar has been admitted for the treatment, while the leading ladies have also isolated themselves from others as they came in touch with Akki during the film’s shooting. This has therefore affected the shoot of the film and the makers have kept things on hold.
Akshay Kumar has been busy shooting for the film as he plays an archeologist in the movie. He even wrapped up one shoot for the film in Mumbai’s Madh Island area with the leading ladies like Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez. He was supposed to start the shoot for the movie in Mumbai Film city. However, he will now be shooting only when he is discharged and has completed his isolation period.
