Kangana Ranaut Rejects Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Collaboration Interest: “Please Don’t Offer Me Any Role, or Else

Actress Kangana Ranaut has responded to filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s recent remarks about being open to the prospect of working with her. Taking to social media, the actor humorously suggested that if she were to collaborate with the director of “Animal,” his characters would undergo a transformation into feminists. Vanga’s filmmaking has been characterized by hyper-violent male characters who employ anger to mask their internal struggles. Despite facing criticism, his recent film “Animal,” featuring Ranbir Kapoor, achieved blockbuster success.

Kangana reposted a clip from Vanga’s recent interview where he lauded her acting skills and expressed willingness to work with her despite her public criticism of “Animal.” In response, Kangana emphasized the distinction between reviews and criticisms, asserting that all forms of art should be open to review and discussion. She commended Vanga for his respectful acknowledgment of her critique and humorously cautioned against giving her roles, suggesting that his alpha male heroes might become feminists, potentially impacting the success of his films.

Despite Kangana’s previous criticism of “Animal” on social media, Vanga had taken her feedback in a positive stride, expressing admiration for her work and indicating a lack of resentment towards her negative comments. Notably, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Vanga revealed his intention to explore a feminist narrative, a concept he had conceived even before directing “Kabir Singh” in 2019. As he prepares to commence work on “Spirit,” featuring Prabhas, and a sequel to “Animal” titled “Animal Park,” Vanga’s progressive storytelling aspirations are poised to bring a new dimension to his cinematic repertoire.
