Kartik Aaryan to Star Opposite Sreeleela in Her Hindi Film Debut

A couple of years ago, T-Series announced Kartik Aaryan as the lead in a romantic drama directed by Anurag Basu, accompanied by a haunting melody from the iconic film Aashiqui. Following much anticipation, it has now been confirmed that South actress Sreeleela has joined the cast. On Saturday, the filmmakers unveiled a teaser that promises to enchant audiences with the chemistry of this fresh pairing.
In the teaser, Kartik Aaryan showcases his sizzling on-screen chemistry with Sreeleela, who gained popularity for her dance number in Kissik from Pushpa 2: The Rule. This film marks Sreeleela’s entry into Bollywood, adding to the excitement surrounding the romantic entertainer. The film is expected to be part of Bhushan Kumar’s musical universe and is described as an intense love story designed to captivate hearts.Kartik Aaryan, who was lauded for his performance in Satyaprem Ki Katha, is set to create electrifying chemistry with Sreeleela, leveraging his irresistible charm. In the teaser released on February 15, Kartik appears as a brooding lover with a heavy beard and long, rugged hair, portraying a professional singer performing on stage.

The video also features a new rendition of the Aashiqui classic, “Tu Meri Zindagi Hai.” Having delivered the blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 last Diwali, Kartik is gearing up for yet another cinematic spectacle, although the title remains under wraps. This project is described as a heart-wrenching love saga exploring the depths of love, longing, and destiny, heightening anticipation for this fresh pairing. Produced by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in collaboration with Anurag Basu and featuring music by Pritam, the film is set to release during Diwali 2025.
