Kriti Sanon Hints at Potential Crew Sequel with Tabu and Kareena Kapoor: “There’s a Sense of Possibility”

During a recent interview with news agency PTI, Kriti Sanon addressed the question of whether there will be a sequel to her latest film, Crew. She acknowledged that the idea of a sequel places a lot of pressure on the writers, Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri. Kriti expressed her appreciation for the audience’s love for the film and their desire to see more. She emphasized the importance of content over gender, stating that the cinema should aim for box office success based solely on the quality of the content.

Kriti also highlighted the unique aspect of Crew, which features three women from different generations in solid and distinctive roles. She expressed her happiness about the chemistry between the three actresses, emphasizing that it was an unexpected trio that excited the audience. In the film, Kriti portrayed the character of Divya Rana.

The heist comedy, Crew, is enjoying great success at the box office. Alongside Kriti, the film also stars Tabu and Kareena Kapoor. Crew follows the story of three air hostesses, played by Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti, whose futures are uncertain due to their airline, Kohinoor, facing bankruptcy. However, their lives take a thrilling turn when they discover a deceased passenger smuggling gold biscuits.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the film has already grossed ₹70.73 crore worldwide within just four days of its release. Produced by Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network and Balaji Motion Pictures, Crew also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma. Kriti is now preparing for her next release, Do Patti, which will also mark her debut as a producer.
