Kareena Kapoor Khan says THIS on Boycott Bollywood trend

Kareena Kapoor Khan has always been open, whether it is about her fashion sense or her views on any ongoing subject. As we can see, Bollywood went through a rough patch in 2022 due to several controversies, including boycott trends. Several Bollywood films were claimed to have met a dead end because of these trends and protests demanding the boycott of Bollywood.

While we witnessed boycott trends for almost every Bollywood release last year, the latest one and the first in a row this year is Pathaan. Pathaan, like Laal Singh Chadha, Raksha Bandhan, Brahmastra, Vikram Vedha, and other 2022 films, has become a popular target for Boycott Gangs on social media. Several users on the Internet are demanding the cancellation of this SRK starrer. In his recent speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also asked activists not to comment on the films. Simultaneously, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor addressed the boycott Bollywood trend at an event in Kolkata.

Here’s what Kareena Kapoor said on the Boycott Bollywood trend

Kareena Kapoor Khan attended an event in Kolkata yesterday. During her time at the venue, she strongly responded to the rapidly developing boycott culture. She stated, “I totally disagree with this thought. If this happens, how will we entertain you? How will be happiness and fun in your life? If there are no movies, how there will be entertainment?”

Everybody saw how last year’s film Laal Singh Chadha, starring Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan, became a victim of the boycott trend. The actress talked about the boycott trend at that time too. She said, “It’s a really nice film, and I want you all to watch me and Aamir together. Please do not boycott the movie.”

Talking about SRK’s Pathaan, the controversy and boycott trend started tremendously after the release of the film’s song ‘Besharam Rang’. From Deepika’s saffron bikini to promoting nudity, everything was highlighted in the protest on social media. Some people also protested by burning posters of the film at several locations. Pathaan is soon releasing in theatres on January 25, and let’s see what happens.
