Kareena Kapoor Khan prompts PM Modi’s vaccination announcement for children as she tested negative of COVID-19

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has been recently tested negative of COVID-19. The actress has now decided to hail the important decision of PM Modi. Well, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation, announced the COVID-19 vaccine for children and booster doses. The decision comes amid the new variant Omicron scare.

The actress reposted journalist Faye Dsouza’s report about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s December 25 address to the nation. Children aged 15 to 18 years will start receiving COVID-19 vaccines on January 3, 2022, while older persons with comorbidities will begin receiving booster doses on January 10, 2022. PM Modi began his speech by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and praising the scientific community for their efforts in the fight against the virus. The Indian Prime Minister also emphasised the significance of wearing masks to prevent the illness from spreading. In January of last year, India launched the world’s largest vaccination campaign.

Yesterday, Kareena took to her Instagram stories and said, “I have tested negative for Covid-19,” she wrote. The 41-year-old actress thanked her “darling sister” Karisma Kapoor for being the “anchor through this nightmare.”
