Kareena Kapoor expresses interest to be in Chennai Express sequel
Presently Rohit Shetty, the well known Bollywood filmmaker has been raking the moolah for quite some time. He is credited with bringing some of the best movies like Singham, Golmaal and others and is also known for making sequels of the same. Almost every movie that has been recently directed by him has rather hit the vibes of the audience and has been simply lapped up by them. As a matter of fact, the audience is expecting more from this vibrant and energetic director. Presently, he is busy with his next project Singham Returns, whose initial version was a runaway success. During its launch event very recently, the director was found to be giggling and joking with the media. When asked by a reporter as to why the director had casted Kareena Kapoor to play the opposite lead to Ajay Devgan in the movie, instead of the prequel actor Kajal Agarwal, he replied that he simply loved casting Kareena Kapoor in the sequels.
This actually turned out to be an opportunity for Kareena, who promptly grabbed up her chance to ask if Rohit would cast her in the sequel of Chennai Express also. This is what she is known to have asked Rohit, “So, you will also be signing me for Chennai Express sequel also, right?” This actually had everyone present to be in splits, when Rohit quipped, “We would name the sequel of Chennai Express as ‘Chennai Returns’.
But the question that is in the minds of most people is can Bebo match up to Deepika Padukone. This is something that one has to wait and watch as to what would unfold in the near future, when Rohit declares the sequel of Chennai Express.
