Karan Johar To Step Down from MAMI Board

The sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput brought the nepotism debate in B Town. A few of the actors who call themself as an outsider targeted Karan Johar and other starkids and many even claimed that a detailed probe should be carried out for the death. K Jo was trolled hard and even his fan following was affected a bit. With this the filmmaker had to face tough time on social media and was seen facing the worst brunt for the same.

As per the reports of Mumbai Mirror, the filmmaker has planned to resign from the MAMI from the positio of director. He is upset to the fact that when he was trolled no one from the B Town industry supported the same. On the other side, Deepika Padukone is trying to convince the filmmaker to reconsider his decision. The board has Vikramaditya Motwane, Zoya Akhtar,  Kabir Khan and Siddharth Roy Kapur.

Not just Karan Jophar, even Alia Bhatt was seen facing the backfire with this debate. Just after the demise of the actor, K Jo has written a long post on Instagram blaming for not being in touch with the late actor, you can check the Instagram post as under:

I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year….. I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with…but somehow I never followed up on that feeling…will never make that mistake again…we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times …some of us succumb to these silences and go within…we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them….Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me …to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations…..I hope this resonates with all of you as well….will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug ….💔💔💔
