Karan Johar poses with Ranveer, Alia and Vicky to demonstrate his ‘can’t wait to start Takht’ factor on social media


Karan Johar has been working on a lot of dramatic entry in Bollywood from his side that will be touching the silver screen this year. Right from Kalank to Takht, he is so excited about all his upcoming projects. Demonstrating the same, very recently, he posted his pictures with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal on his Instagram account mentioning he can’t wait to start Takht.

The entire Takht team seemed to be very excited about this upcoming project and working with Karan.

Karan Johar’s announcement about Takht simply led the fans jump up their chairs. This one tends to be a mega-budget multi-starrer film featuring few of the biggest contemporary Bollywood stars.

The story line for the film will be running around the relationship between the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and his brother, Dara Shukoh. Ranveer Singh will be the idealistic role of Dara, while Vicky Kaushal will have his hands-on the self-obsessed role of the ruler Aurangzeb. The other cast for Takht includes, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Alia Bhatt is announced to stay paired with Vicky. The pair has already been screened for the critically acclaimed and a commercial success film, Raazi. Audiences are waiting to see them together again.

Even Karan Johar has joined the audiences in this regard as he really can’t wait to start its filming saga! Confirming the same, this vivacious director shared a groupfie with the ‘Team Takht’  and another adorable selfie with Baba, captioned as, “his mad one that I love!!!! Can’t wait to start TAKHT!❤️?❤️ @ranveersingh.”
