Karan to Play Father’s character in Bombay Velvet

Though Karan Johar is still to marry and remains the eligible bachelor in B Town but soon he will be playing the character of a father in one of his upcoming movies called Bombay Velvet. He may not be a father in real life but yes would try his acting career by being a father in Anurag Kashyap’s movie. The Koffee To Karan host is being heard to sign up Vikas Bah’s upcoming venture with the main leads including Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. As per sources, Karan would be playing the character of father who has a son that is about to be married. The wedding would be organised by his on screen son Shahid and on the other side you would be having Govinda playing the character of bride’s father. The duo (Karan and Govinda) would be seen in a comic role in the destination wedding.

Though there is no official confirmation from Govinda’s side for playing this character. As per the leading daily, Govinda would be seen meeting Vikas and would talk about the role to get his final consent. Though the partner actor is still to sign up the movie, yet you can expect the director would seen crack the deal with him in order to embark some of the best comic pair in the said movie. Well, while digging deep, why Karan has accepted such role, sources tell us that Karan has been very much excited to do such character especially after watching Aamir Khan’s movie Taare Zameen Par. So his parental instinct would be seen in the movie.
