Just when we heard the south Indian film Dear Comrade releasing today, we also heard the news that popular filmmaker Karan Johar has got the rights of the film Dear Comrade for the remake in Bollywood. We then heard that Karan Johar is roping in the Dhadak actors in the film and therefore would be soon signing actors Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor for the remake. However, as per the latest buzz, he took time to clarify this issue.
He came to the Microblogging site and wished good luck to the film Dear Comrade along with clarifying the same. He said that he or his team is yet to finalize the star cast for the film. He stressed on saying that he is still in the planning mode and the work seems to be in progress. He then said that the film is lovely and he is progressing with it. It was on 24th July when he announced that he would be producing the remake of the said film Dear Comrade starring Vijay Deverakonda.
He got the chance to see the special screening of the film and then announced the same on Twitter with applauding the movie nothing like it. He wrote earlier that it was pleasing for him to catch the first glimpse of the movie called Dear Comrade. He said the film has a powerful and intense love story with incredible performances by the lead actors – Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna. He said the film happens to have an important and very relevant message. He then wrote that he is super excited to produce the venture under his banner called Dharma Productions.
