Kapil Sharma finally talks about Sunil Grover’s health says ‘I was totally shocked’

Actor and Comedian Sunil Grover was admitted to Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute last week on 27 January the actor had undergone heart surgery and he is currently recovering now. Later on, it was discovered that he had suffered a heart attack and that he had tested positive for Covid-19. He needed cardiac surgery since two of his arteries were completely blocked and the third artery was 70 to 90 percent blocked.

During a recent interview with TOI, Sunil Grover’s colleague and friend Kapil Sharma also expressed his concern about his health. Kapil said, “I was totally shocked and I had messaged him also. He just got discharged from the hospital and can’t expect him to reply back. But I am concerned about his health. At such a young age he had to undergo heart surgery. I have inquired about his health from our common friends.”

Earlier, ANI had shared a statement on Sunil’s health which read, “Sunil Grover underwent 4 bypass surgeries using both internal mammary arteries from inside his chest. He had a very uneventful postoperative recovery&was discharged on 3rd Feb. He has recovered well, was walking around&doing his day to day activities: Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai.”

Sunil Grover is an Indian actor and stand-up comedian. He came into the limelight for his portrayal as Gutthi on the television show Comedy Nights with Kapil but gained popularity for playing the role of Dr. Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Devi on The Kapil Sharma Show. Sunil Grover starred in Kanpur Wale Khuranas and Gangs Of Filmistaan.
