Ranveer Singh is now back with another film 83, and he is undergoing intense training for it. The actor has given back to back hits with films like Simmba, Gully Boy and Padmavaat. His performances were applauded in the media, while as he gears up his film 83 playing Kapil Dev in it, we also hear that the latter’s daughter has joined the star cast of the movie based on the Indian Cricket team winning the World Cup in the year 1983. The actor is leaving no stone unturned to learn the best about the former cricketer.
He visited his hometown, talked to people close to him and has also undergone intensive training in cricket and many more things. Amidst all this, we hear that Kapil Dev’s daughter Amiya Dev is all set to join the film in its star cast. However, she is not joining the star cast an actor but as an assistant director to Kabir Khan who is directing the film. She has just completed her graduation and was interested in exploring some options in film making.
Luckily with 83, she is able to open her career in B Town. Well, all we can say is what an opening she is getting in her career when she has entered into the domain of filmmaking with a movie made on her own father who led an important role in winning the World Cup for India. Also, Amiya would be helpful to Ranveer and his team as he would be getting too many inputs about her father that will help the actor to replicate in his character for the film.
