Throwback to the time when Ranbir Kapoor supported Pakistani artists and wanted to spread peace

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the finest actors Bollywood have. He is taking forward the acting legacy of his family very beautifully. Some of his blockbusters include Sanju, Rockstar, and Barfi to name a few. Aside from his acting abilities, fans love him for his thoughts on humanity, not appreciating cast, and religion being a thorn in it.

In this regard, did you know that the actor has urged the people of India and Pakistan to unite and be kind to one another? Read on to find out what he said!

When Ranbir Kapoor’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was about to hit theatres, the political party MNS demanded that Pakistani artists be barred from working in Bollywood. The reason for this was the Uri Terrorist attack that occurred at the time. Ranbir, like many other actors, including Salman Khan and Karan Johar, advocated for Pakistani artists and urged people to live in peace.

In an interview with Daily Times, Ranbir Kapoor said, “I don’t want to sound preachy and like a ‘healer talker’ but we are living in some hard times right now. I hope that you guys don’t get swept away with the bitterness and negativity, the violence that’s happening around the world and around us.” The actor also added, “I want you guys to stay sweet, gentle, amazing and beautiful. Because even though the world may think that it’s a shitty place to live in, it is beautiful. You guys are the force. And the force is going to be with you, forever.”

Meanwhile, talking about Ranbir now, he will be seen in the much-anticipated film Brahmstra. Ayan Mukerji will direct the film, which will be released on September 9, 2022. Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni plays an important role while other actors also appear in the film.
