Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi to have a theatrical release, KGF Chapter 2 new release date announced, details inside!

 

While Kangana Ranaut recently kick started shooting for her upcoming film Tejas, her much anticipated film Thalaivi is still waiting to hit the big screen. However according to the latest update after Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom Kangana’s Thalaivi is all set to become the second big film to hit the theatres

Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram handle to share that Thalaivi will soon have a pan India theatrical release first. Thalaivi has been delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was earlier reported that the film will release on OTT platform but now since the situation of COVID pandemic is seen under control the makers are taking the film to theatres.

Meanwhile, one of the most awaited films KGF: Chapter 2 is also all set to have a theatrical release on April 14, 2022. Taking to Instagram, Sanjay Dutt shared a new poster of the film unveiling the release date. Yash as Rocky, Sanjay Dutt as Adheera and Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen, and Srinidhi Shetty as Reena can be seen in the poster. Directed by Prashanta Neel the film will release in theatres on April 14, 2022.

Earlier the team subsequently announced that the film would arrive in theatres on July 16. But due to an increase in coronavirus cases in India the makers had to drop the idea.

Meanwhile, Kangana recently wrapped up the shooting of Tejas. Talking about the film Kangana had earlier said in a statement, “Tejas is an exhilarating story where I have the privilege of playing an air force pilot. I am honoured to be a part of a film that celebrates these brave men and women in uniform who make immense sacrifices in the line of duty every day. Our film celebrates the armed forces and its heroes.”

Apart from Tejas and Thalaivi Kangana Ranaut also has Dhaakad, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda and a film on Indira Gandhi in her kitty.
