It was yet another busy Friday to see three films releasing the same day like what we have seen the previous Friday. This certainly includes the Sanjay Dutt starrer film Prassthanam, which is known to have its ensemble star cast. The film bagged positive reviews that helped it to escalate in the media. The promotion of the film seemed decent allowing one and all to catch the film. With an ensemble star cast, a gripping story and other interesting elements, Prassthanam have much to offer.
As per reports, the occupancy for the film started with 30 to 40 per cent in the morning and the evening shows, however, with the passage of time, the evening and night shows witnessed a decent amount of surge in terms of occupancy reaching to 70 to 80 per cent assuring a good box office collection. Although it faced a bit of heat of competition from the Sonam Kapoor film The Zoya Factor along with the last week release film Chhichhore to some extent, yet it went smooth.
As per reports, the 1st day box office collection for Prassthanam was 10.20 Crores, which is pretty impressive for the audience. As per the experts, the film is expected to witness a good collection in its first weekend. The weekend should be able to give the makers not less than 40 Crores. Well, let’s see how things would move for the multi-starrer film but looking at the current picture, things are rosy for the political drama.
