Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2- The Rule’s audio rights sold for this RECORD price!

Allu Arjun- starrer ‘Pushpa 2 – The Rule’ is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films.  With the success of Pushpa The Rise, there are huge expectations on the sequel and the film is already creating huge buzz on social media without even having any proper release date as of yet.

 According to the latest report the audio rights of this movie have been sold at a record price.  The trade buzz is that all language audio rights for Pushpa 2-The Rule has been bought for a whooping record price of  Rs 65 crore by T-Series.

If the above mentioned price is actually true then this is easily the highest-paid amount for an Indian film audio rights. And it has already shattered the previous record by more than double the margin. The previous record holder was S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR which had sold its music rights for Rs. 26 crores.

Pushpa 2: The Rule’s songs and background score has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), who had also composed the music for the first part. The first part, Pushpa- The Rise which hit the theatres in December 2021 became a massive blockbuster and  grossed over Rs. 300 crore worldwide from all versions. In fact the first part collected more in the north region of the country than south.

Helmed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2- The Rule will see Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, and Sunil reprise their roles from the first part. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is scheduled to release in 2024. But makers are yet to reveal the film’s release date.
