Kangana Alleges Anurag Kashyap is Spreading Lies & She never Approached for Saand Ki Aankh
It seems that the war of words between Kangana Ranaut and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is going tough on social media. The filmmaker recently in his interview on TV said that the actress has tried to take the director’s chair. He also went on to say that the lady was given the role in the film Saand Ki Aankh but she rejected as she was not willing to share the spotlight with another leading lady in the film.
He went on to say that the actress was also looking ahead to be on the chair of the director and had issues with the age-appropriate cast as she has prejudice against ageing women. Her team then tweeted about the same when she said that the filmmaker is lying and she never approached them for any role in the film. Talking about the film, Saand Ki Aankh, it has Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in the leading roles. The story of the film deals with a life of two elderly sisters who later become sharpshooters despite being in their late forties. The film is based on real life incidents.
