Kamal Haasan is often defined as a one-man army when it comes to acting in a film. He can act, he can pose fierce action, he can give incredible dialogues, he can do an array of wide range of things, which many of his age would not prefer. This is the reason why he remains the iconic actor in the Indian film industry. He has been in films since the past five decades and almost in every other movie he has made his presence felt with his dynamic performance. This has led him highly honoured awards like Padma Shri not just once but thrice. He also holds a record of playing 10 characters in one film thus entering his name in the Guinness World Record for his movie Dasavatharam.
This is called an achievement. His career spans for five decades wherein he has played different roles in the film industry like actor, singer, lyricist, choreographer, and filmmaker. Well, as per the latest buzz, the actor not wants to quit the films and has announced his retirement as he completes his next film Indian 2. The film is its post-production phase and is all set to enter into the promotion mode. He now wants to pursue his political career. While talking about his future plans, he said he intends to file his nomination for Lok Sabha in the year 2019 from the Makkal Needhi Maiam constituency in Tamil Nadu.
So, he said, he will now quit acting in films now once he is done with his next venture Indian 2. The film is scheduled to release on 14th of December. He has also given many films in Bollywood which include the iconic movies including Sadma, Chachi 420 and Sagaar to name a few. However, he is more popular in South Indian films than Bollywood movies. The reason why he did as he felt the B Town is indisciplined as they take 2-3 years to release any film when the life of an actor is short. He further said that the film in B Town could be a big deal to crack, but the actors like him have shorter life to live. We wish him for his political career.
