Kajol Films Action Sequences for MahaRagni: Queen of Queens in Hyderabad; Expected to Wrap by End of October: Report

Following in the illustrious footsteps of stars like Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Sharwari, Kajol is gearing up for an exhilarating role in the upcoming Pan-India film MahaRagni: Queen of Queens. Directed by the talented Telugu filmmaker Charan Tej Uppalapati, this film promises to showcase Kajol in a powerful light as she takes on the role of a fierce warrior, complete with weaponry and breathtaking action sequences. According to a report from Mid-Day, Kajol portrays Maya, a determined woman who rises from the challenging environment of Dharavi to become a formidable force in Maharashtra.
The film is shot in Hindi and will be dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, ensuring a wide reach. It tells a gripping tale of revenge that is sure to keep audiences captivated from start to finish. While a significant portion of the film was filmed in Hyderabad, plans for the final leg were initially set for Mumbai. Due to changes in scheduling, Kajol ended up shooting one of the film’s most intense action sequences on a specially designed set in Hyderabad.The filmmakers are keeping the details of this high-octane action scene tightly under wraps to maximize its impact.
To prepare for her role, Kajol has undergone extensive training to master various skills, including weapons handling, hand-to-hand combat, and high-impact kicks. The action choreography is led by Peter Hein, renowned for his work on the Pushpa franchise and Devara.Adding to the film’s impressive action sequences is German stunt coordinator Florian Hotz, known for his contributions to hits like The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and John Wick: Chapter 4. He has teamed up with Telugu action director Naga Venkat Naga to create thrilling and visually stunning fight scenes.MahaRagni: Queen of Queens is set to conclude production by the end of the month, and excitement is building for this dynamic addition to Kajol’s filmography.
