Kajal Aggarwal is a leading actress in Telugu and Tamil films. She best known for her performance in the super hit Telugu film Magadheera released in 2009. She made her debut in Bollywood in 2011 with film Singham in which she starred opposite Ajay Devgan. Kajal later acted in Special 26 alongside Akshay kumar, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher. Now she is a well known face in Bollywood and is one of the most searched actresses on Google in India. In 2012 she figured in the top ten most searched people of India. In 2012, She joined the beautiful actresses to endorse the famous soap brand Lux. In 2013, she was signed as the face of Panasonic in India. Before this, she has endorsed Samsung.
Kajal was born on 19 June 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is less known that Kajal, at the age of 17, acted in the 2004 released Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi starrer Kyu.. Hogaya Na. She played the role of Diya( Aishwarya)’s friend. The actress was noted to be impressive but the recognition did not fetch her any film offers then. Later she was offered roles in Telugu films and her first release came in the form of Lakshmi Kalyanam. Then followed a streak of moderate and flop films like Chandamama , Pourudu , Bommalattam etc. Her big break happened when Magadheera released in which she acted opposite Ram Charan Teja and she played a dual role. The film went to become a grand success. It won her recognition country wide and was also nominated in the best actress category. The film became her claim to fame and she acted in Tamil films as well with the leading actors. In 2012 she acted in Thuppakki in Tamil and it won her CineMAA Award for Best Actress (Tamil) .
Kajal now works on Tamail film Jilla in which she acts opposite superstars mohanlal and Vijay and will release in 2014.Apart form these , she acts in Yevadu, Krishna Vamsi’s Untitled project and another Tamil Untitled Balaji Mohan project .
