Kabir Singh Faces another hurdle as Police Complaint is made To STOP its Screening
Just when the film Kabir Singh is all set to enter into the 100 Crore club, the makers of the film now face the heat from a certain section of the audience demanding now to ban the screen. Earlier feminists reacted to the film asking for a ban and now a bunch of doctors has come forward to ban the screening of the movie. As per reports, a local Bombay based doctor claim that the film has portrayed people from their profession in a wrong way. Hence has demanded to put a ban on the screening.
As per reports, the doctor has filed a complaint against the movie to the Mumbai Police and has even written a letter to Union Health Minister along with the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. He also sent one copy to the Censor Board asking to stop the screening of the film as it shows the doctors in a bad light. We know Shahid Kapoor who has played the key role in the movie is playing the character of a surgeon who is seen operating his patients under the influence of drugs. The film was also targetted by the bunch of feminists who called it a film that promotes things like misogyny and toxic masculinity.
Meanwhile, Kabir Singh is going great guns at the box office with the collection reaching to 88.37 crores in just four days and now is all set to enter into the 100 crores club. The film has done good business on the first day and the first weekend as well. Shahid calls the film to be a very challenging movie for him and it was both physically and emotionally challenging for him. He said he had three looks in the film that made him transform a lot.
