Amitabh Bachchan says “arrested” by sharing a cryptic post standing beside police van
Just a few days ago megastar Amitabh Bachchan stirred a controversy when he posted a picture of himself taking a bike ride, without a helmet. The photo stirred the internet and many social media users tagged Mumbai Police to take action. Later, Mumbai Police also tweeted about the same and alerted the traffic branch.

Now, the veteran actor has released a cryptic Instagram image in which he is seen standing next to a Mumbai police car. He captioned the post, “arrested.” Fans immediately began leaving comments on the post.

One user commented, “Don ko pakad liya police ne . But abh Don budda ho chuka hai. Jawani me Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi na mumkin tha????”
Another user wrote, “Don pakda gaya, ab 2 din wait kariye sir, kal Saturday hai aur parso Sunday. Monday ko zamanat karwata hu aap ki?”
To clear the air about this whole fiasco, Amitabh Bachchan took to his personal blog and revealed why he was seen without a helmet on the bike. The actor wrote, “the impotency of content .. Much made out of the bike picture .. ! How you moving on the street with stranger ..? No security ..? You are loved take care ..? And then .. NO HELMET .. !!!!!! The fact of the matter is that this is on location shoot on the street of Mumbai ..It is Sunday .. formal permission taken for shoot at a lane in Ballard Estate .. permission was sought for Sunday because all offices are shut and there is no public or traffic .. One lane in the region BLOCKED off by Police permission for shoot .. the lane barely 30-40 meters .. The dress I wear is my costume for the film . AND .. I AM JUST FOOLING AROUND BY GETTING ON THE BIKE , OF A CREW MEMBER .. NOT EVEN MOVING ANY WHERE, BUT GIVING THE IMPRESSION THAT I TRAVELLED TO SAVE TIME .. ? .. But yes I would do it if there was a problem of punctuality .. and wear helmet and follow all the rules and regulations of the traffic guide lines .I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES THIS .. had seen Akshay Kumar do this to get to location on time .. wore helmet etc., on the bike of his Security person .. no one could recognise .. and it was rapid and efficient .. and it worked well ..
