Junglee and Photograph Not Performing As Per The Expected Box Office Collections


The recent duo Bollywood release of Junglee and Photograph has been doing really great at the Box Office. However, initially the film went perfect as per the Bollywood standards but, there has been a downfall noticed in the success graph.

The Vidyut Jammwal starrer, Junglee that was helmed by Chuck Russell collected a total of Rs 6.05 crore on Sunday. The film did quite well with its release gaining a total 3.35 crore with its Day 1 release. In fact, nothing had been keeping Junglee Pictures latest family action adventure film Junglee from surging high at the box office.

With an up roaring first weekend collection, now the film tends to receive around 30% degradation on its account. The overall collection of the film till date is 16.25 crores which means the film has to really pull up to get into the hit films category.

Hollywood filmmaker Chuck Russell debuts his Bollywood film with Junglee along with the two new debutantes as the female lead for the film, Pooja Sawant and Asha Bhat. The film was released on 29 March. It’s a complete family adventure film that opened up gaining the positive reviews from the audience and the critics as well.

Photograph, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra starrer collected Rs 35 lakh on Sunday. Ritesh Batra’s film, Photograph didn’t have an exact set off at great heights. Starting low at  the box office, despite of the star cast, the film somehow managed to received a few decent reviews, but the slow start at the ticket counters gave the film a real blow. As per the source reports, the film has managed to collect a total of Rs 35 lakh at the box office on its third day. In total, the film has managed to collect a total of Rs 95 lakh in three days at the box office after its release. Even though the film has gained worldwide laurels, anticipations are high on the film not performing good in Bollywood.
