The Jungle Book by Hollywood filmmaker called Jon Favreau has done wonders with his 3D live-animation adventure fantasy film “The Jungle Book” not just in the opening weekend but in the entire week. The film managed to head start with a good collection reaping strong at the end at the Indian box office and has collected a good amount of moolah in its opening week. The film in India has released in four different langauges – English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The story of the film comes from the timeless classic tale of 1894 by Rudyard Kipling, giving a very good collection smashing down the other release of B Town called Love Games.
As per reports, the film – The Jungle Book’s first box office report tolled to around 74.08 crores. The same report also claims that it is among the highest opening week collection for any Hollywood movies in India so far. Interestingly, the film has all the top actors of B Town like Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Nana Patekar, Om Puri and Shefali Shah giving their voices for the major characters of the film. Apart from Neel who is the Mowgli in the film, the movie is supported by Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson, Christopher Walken and Lupita Nyong’o.
