The new offerings in B Town for this week came in the form of Julie 2 and Kadvi Hawa, which were released with some amount of buzz as compared to the other set of new B Town offerings across India. The films despite being fresh and unique were seen struggling a lot to attract the audience during the weekend and thus have remained lower in collection than the last week’s releases. The film is directed by Nila Madhab Panda and Kadvi Hawa is simply based on the curse owing to the climate chnage that has got a good appreciation owing to tangible content and good performances.
Now, talking about Kadvi Hava, which seemed being non-commercial film, Sanjay Mishra starrer this black drama film has failed to witness a good amount of response at the box office. On the Friday, the film Kadvi Hawa seemed to have opened up with a poor note had a very bad business with collection reaching to 0.05 crore on first day and then 0.07 crore on Saturday and finally 0.08 crore on Sunday. So, the total box office collection for the weekend remained too low reaching only to 0.20 crore. Thanks to the limited number of screens.
On the other hand, the film Julie 2 happens to be a sequel to the 2004 based film Julie which has Raai Laxmi in the lead role. Owing to the weak story, the film failed to get a good remarks from the audiences during the first weekend. The film released in 1650 screens all across the nation. The very next day, there was some amount of push. Thus the 1st weekend box office collection for Aksar 2 reached to around 1.90 crores. In other words, the weekend collection of both the movies have remained low at the box office and would go the same. So, what do you think about the same do let us know?
