Juhi Chawla has reached another remarkable milestone in her illustrious career. The 2024 Hurun India Rich List has recognized her as one of the top 10 self-made women in the country, with an impressive net worth of Rs. 4,600 crores. This achievement places her among India’s most influential women entrepreneurs, alongside industry heavyweights such as Radha Vembu, Falguni Nayar, Jayshree Ullal, and Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw.
According to an NDTV report, Juhi ranks just behind Neha Narkhede and family, who boast a wealth of Rs. 4,900 crores, while placing ahead of Indra K. Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo, whose net worth is Rs. 3,900 crores. In addition to her recognition as a self-made woman, Juhi Chawla also secured a notable position in the Hurun list’s ‘silver screen titans’ category, coming in just after her close friend and Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan.
Juhi’s journey has been marked by significant achievements both personally and professionally. She married Jay Mehta, Chairman of The Mehta Group, in 1995. The couple resides in a luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s Malabar Hill and has invested in various high-value assets over the years.
One of Juhi Chawla’s most notable business ventures is her co-ownership of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), an Indian Premier League (IPL) team, which she runs alongside her husband Jay Mehta and Shah Rukh Khan. According to Forbes, KKR was valued at approximately $1.1 billion (around Rs. 9,139 crores) as of 2022. The couple also boasts a collection of luxury vehicles, including an Aston Martin Rapide, a BMW 7 Series, and a Porsche Cayenne.
