Irfan Khan returns to India, Actor will get treatment from Mumbai.

After completing the medical observations at London Bollywood star Irfan Khan has returned to India. Irfan was undergoing medical treatment for a neuroendocrine tumor in London.  The actor made his flight into London last year after getting diagnosed with a minor form of cancer.

Sharing the news about his illness Irfan took the twitter where he tweeted that he’s been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.  As per some reports by few entertainment websites, Irfan will make his comeback soon on the big screen for the sequel of Hindi medium and will be treated at the hospital in Mumbai.


According to the source aware about his schedule said “Irfan is back in Mumbai. But people are publishing all sorts of stories without any confirmation. They are not true,” adding that Hindi Medium 2 is definitely on the cards, “but not sure when the shooting will start.”

“I will get an update on his health and when will he be resuming work when I meet the actor soon,” a source added.

Dinesh Vijan the producer of the movie confirmed that he will make an announcement about the sequel of the film in coming days. Irfan Khan’s 2017 film Hindi Medium, which also starred Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, released to much critical acclaim. “

Irfan was going through the chemotherapy sessions in London and was continuously sharing updates about his health on his twitter handle. Many reports were circulated in the last about the return of Irfan on Diwali without signing any film contract.

On the work front, in addition to Hindi Medium 2, a biopic on Udham Singh, to be directed by Shoojit Sircar, is Irrfan Khan’s pending project. His film with Deepika Padukone, to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, has been postponed indefinitely. Meanwhile, he opted out of Amazon’s web series Gormint. Karwaan was his last Bollywood release, which hit the screens while he was in London.
