As the actor John Abraham gears up for his next film Satyameva Jayate 2, we now hear the actor standing against the people who have been involved in selling animals online using platforms like Quikr and OLX India, and so on. He requested these online and e-retailer like Quickr to stop the trade against the live animals. While talking about the same, the actor said that by allowing the sale of animals on these platforms, they are also becoming the part of trades that goes against the animals.
By doing this, the animals’ lives go on a risk claimed by the actor as he cited out saying that these animals are transported with all cruelty and that they should avoid doing the same. In his letter written to these platforms, the actor said kindly to join against the rise in sale of animals in their group. He has written the letter yesterday to the e-retailers site, which has demanded the ban on the online sale of the animals.
He alleged that these things are happening under the garb of adoptions, which is not the case most of the time as people involved in animal sale are misusing and abusing the animals. He said this can only happen when genuine groups and NGOs involved in animal protection are dealing in the animals and not anyone who is interested in selling them off using these online platforms. There is nothing called free adoptions, claimed the actor. Stay tuned to know more about it only with us.
