John Abraham to play Boxer Hawa Singh in a biopic


John Abraham after his home venture Rocky Handsome is now gearing up for another film. As per reports, this will be a biopic film, which will be based on the life of popular boxer called Hawa Singh. Unlike his previous film, this will be another venture wherein he has the central role to play.

The biopic movie will also portray the journey of Hawa Singh apart from showcasing his glorious achievements in the entire life. Right from the phase of joining the defense at the age of 19 years to being the Western Command Boxing Champion wherein he was seen beating Mohabbat Singh along with winning 11 consecutive times at the Western Command Boxing Championship.

In other words, you can find this film showcasing the highlights of his career. Hawa Singh has been behind training a number of renowned boxers like Vijendra Singh and Akhil Kumar. The boxer has passed away in August 2000, while Sam Fernandez has given the rights of the movie and thus would produce the movie along with the John and his studio.

As per reports, even John is going to try his lunch in singing, while the movie would be shot in places like Delhi and Haryana along with the hometown of the boxer, which is at Umaravas, Vaishnodevi, Thailand and other places. Currently John Abraham is gearing up for his next release, which comes in the form of Dishoom releasing on 29th July 2016.
