John Abraham & Emraan Hashmi unite for a film on gangster
As we heard Sanjay Gupta returning to a gangster film after six long years, there seems to be a development taking place in this regard. The makers have now decided upon the star cast, the makers have brought John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi at the silver screen for a gangster film. The film is all about a don based in Mumbai and the way the events have followed him while leading his life. The film follows the series of events that took place after the shutdown of textile mills and on gang wars.
The makers have brought the Pokhran actor John Abraham and Why Cheat India actor Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The film deals with the deep nexus found in between the gangsters, politicians and other people in the backdrop of Mumbai city. The film is said to be inspired by the real-time incidents that took place in the city in the seventies and eighties. Thus you get the chance to see the old Bombay in it.
Digging deep into the roles, one of the actors would be playing the role of a cop and the other would be playing the don of Mumbai. The film will be therefore a cat and mouse game that is found in between the two characters. The makers are now on a hunt for a female lead for the film, while the film is expected to hit the screens in the next few months. The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and is supposed to hit the screens in 2020. John has worked with Sanjay in films like Shootout at Wadala, while Emraan would be doing his first film with the director.
