Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund scores low on day 1

Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund had finally released on 4th March. Looking at the reviews, the film is highly impactful with a gripping storyline. But Nagraj Manjule’s superb creation has not been applauded at the box office as the film collects a low number on the first day. On day one itself, the film earned an average number of 1.25 cr nett.

As Batman has also released on 4th March competing with Jhund and as Gangubai Kathiawadi has already taken the leads at the box office, it is very difficult for the film to achieve a bigger number at the box office. Looking at the current scenario, the film will close down with a total number of 30 cr lifetime.

Directed by Sairat director Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, the film brings to the screen the story of Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barse. In the biopic, Big B is seen playing the role of a football coach, stubborn about transforming a group of infamous, needy children from difficult backgrounds together in the hope of giving them a fresh motive to survive and change their life. His belief – despite being involved in gang wars and piracy, the group is not bad at heart.

Jhund film production, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, Raaj Hiremath, Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, Meenu Aroraa, and Sandeep Singh, under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment & Aatpat. This is a worldwide release of Zee Studios.
