Contemplated suicide several years ago when morphed pictures were circulated on social media’ says Jaya Prada

She additionally discussed her ties with ousted Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh who was expelled from the party in 2016 and whom she considered as her “godfather”.

Amar Singh was on dialysis and my morphed pictures were being circulated in the region. I was crying and saying I don’t want to live anymore, I want to commit suicide. I was going through that trauma and no one supported me, “Jaya Prada was cited as saying by news organization PTI. She was talking at the Queensline Literature Festival in Mumbai.

Jaya Prada, a two-time parliamentarian from Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur, was removed from the Samajwadi Party in 2010 alongside Amar Singh after he had aftermath with Mulayam Singh Yadav.

She said individuals would keep on talking her and Amar Singh regardless of whether she tied him a rakhi “Only Amar Singh Ji, who came out of his dialysis, stood next to me, supported me. What will you think of him? Godfather or someone else? Even if I tie rakhi to him, will people stop talking? I don’t care what people say,” she said.

Jaya Prada, 56, likewise guaranteed that she got terrorization from Samajwadi Party official Azam Khan,  a lawmaker from Rampur and a severe commentator of Amar Singh

“Even as a sitting MP, Azam Khan harassed me and attempted an acid attack on me. I had no certainty if I would be alive the next day. I would tell mother while leaving the house that I wasn’t sure if I would ever return home. I emerged out of it,” she asserted.

Jaya Prada said she got no help from Mulayam Singh Yadav called her expulsion from the party as the sign of parochial set up in the party. “Mulayam Singh Ji didn’t call me once,”

“Whatever they are showing in the film Manikarnika, I feel I was like that. A woman can also take the avatar of goddess Durga,” she said.

In the wake of being removed from the Samajwadi Party, she shaped her very own party- Rashtriya Lok Manch – alongside Amar Singh. recently she made a statement that the character of ruler Alauddin Khilji helped her to remember Mr. Khan. In October a year ago, Amar Singh documented a police grievance against Mr. Khan for purportedly undermining his girls with corrosive assault.
