After a good collection for his film Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior, Saif Ali Khan’s next film Jawaani Jaaneman ended at a decent note on the first weekend. The film with a tailor-made role has helped him garner the same love he always deserved. Although it clashed with the other film Gul Makai based on Nobel Laureate, yet it did not feel any impact on it. With 3.24 Crores collection, the film did witness a bit of hike in the collection on the second day.
It scored around 4.55 Crores, while it jumped the highest on the third day and the first day scoring around 7.50 Crores at the box office. With these figures, the 1st-weekend box office collection for Jawaani Jaaneman scored around 15.24 Crores, which is yet a decent figure at the box office. With the further jump on Sunday, the film is expected to have a stable collection during the weekdays.
Thus one can expect the collection of around 3 to 4 crores during the weekdays giving a decent collection at the end of the first week. The film is all about a story of a man in his forties who is enjoying his life like that of a young man away from his responsibility. Saif has played this role with his great energy and skills getting higher ratings for it. It is directed by Nitin Kakkar, while produced under the banners called Pooja Entertainment, Black Knight Films and Northern Lights Films. The film had Tabu, Farida Jalal and Kubbra Sait in the leading roles, while it gave Aalia F the debut in B Town.
