When Shabana Azmi was traveling on the Mumbai Pune Expressway this weekend, she met an accident as her car dashed with the truck ahead. Her driver in a hurry was seen overspeeding the car thus losing the balance that soon resulted in an accident. It gave some injuries to the lady traveling and she was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. Now, she has been shifted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai where she is undergoing a couple of medical tests and the treatment.
While talking about the update on the health of her husband, Javed Akhtar said that there is no serious harm done to her. Things are normal and she is in the ICU with all the major reports coming positive in her favor without any serious harm done to her. Dr. Santosh Shetty the CEO of the hospital stated that her conditions are stable and she is under observations at the moment and thus would be shifted to the general ward.
In the meantime, the truck driver Rajesh Shinde who was slammed from the back by Azmi’s driver has filed an FIR against him stating that Kamat was seen driving rash and that has caused the accident. The police has framed charges of rash driving on Azmi’s driver Amlesh Kamat. After her accident, many of the actors and B Town celebs have visited her. These include Farhan Akhtar, Tabu, Anil Kapoor, Shibani Dandekar and many more. Even Mr. Kejrival the Delhi CM and Modi have tweeted about her and wished her for a quick recovery.
