Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and Ananya Pandey’s ‘Khali Peeli’ will be released on OTT
Theaters are closed due to an outbreak of coronovirus, so filmmakers are now planning to release their films on OTT. After Ludo and Jhund, Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena and Ananya Pandey and Ishaan’s Khaali Peeli’s makers are now planning to direct release the films on OTT.
According to media sources, since the current situation is not showing good, the production houses are thinking that it would be best to pursue both films for direct release on OTT.
Reports further state that the lockdown period will take a little time to expire, and even if theaters open, it will take some time to eliminate some of the obstacles. Therefore, the producers of both films decided that it was more possible to directly opt for OTT releases.
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Janhvi Kapoor starrer film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Ishaan Khattar and Ananya Pandey’s Khaali Peeli apart from Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund ‘, Abhishek Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao multi-starrer’ Ludo ‘and Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Laxmi Bomb’ will also be released directly on an OTT platform.
