Janhvi Kapoor spotted having a good time with ex-boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya in the city, check out the details
On Sunday evening, Janhvi Kapoor made a rare appearance with ex-boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya. The actress was seen leaving a restaurant and getting into a car driven by Shikhar. Janhvi, who was dressed in a pastel pink outfit, smiled briefly at the photographers before getting into the car. Janhvi and Shikhar were later photographed arriving at the latter’s Bandra home.
Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ cryptically confirmed Janhvi and Shikar’s romance during an episode featuring Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi. Janhvi and Sara had dated ‘two brothers’ who used to live in his building, according to the filmmaker. Netizens quickly deduced that KJo was referring to Veer and Shikhar Pahariya.
Janhvi Kapoor is preparing for the release of her film ‘Mili.’ Mathukutty Xavier directs this survival drama, which is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Helen’ (2019). ‘Mili,’ produced by Boney Kapoor, also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in pivotal roles. Boney Kapoor had previously stated at the film’s trailer launch that Janvhi should not be compared to her late mother, Sridevi.
Speaking about the same, Janhvi was earlier quoted as saying,
“I honestly don’t have any major problem with it, because logically you are going to compare her 200th film, to my 4th film, but that’s fine by me. You are going to compare me to someone or the other. I am flattered that the standards that you are holding me up to are the standards of the greatest, most iconic actor of Indian cinema. If you are comparing me to that, that’s what I think I need to aspire to be, then at least I will come close, so its motivating. Why should I be offended or be apologetic? We have the same genes, I have her blood.”
The ‘Mili’ film is set to be released on November 4, 2022. Janhvi Kapoor is also working on Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal’ with Varun Dhawan and ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ with Rajkummar Rao.
