Shahid Kapoor Increases his Fee for his next film after Kabir Singh
Shahid Kapoor seems to be riding high with the success of his previous film Kabir Singh. He has given his best performance on the silver screen getting big at the box office. The film has been among the top ten of Big movies of 2019 and he is all set to start preparing for his next film called Nani’s Jersey remake. However, as per reports, he has now increased his fees after getting his last film

As per reports, the actor has now demanded INR 40 Crores for his next film which happens to be the remake of a Telugu movie called Jersey. The film has Nani and Shraddha Srinath. Well, this is a huge amount and Shahid Kapoor has been an affordable actor for the B Town filmmakers, but it seems that the success of his last film has made him revise his fee. The said film was supposed to be produced by Karan Johar as he has got the rights for the remake.
However, as per the current reports, we have new makers called Dil Raju and Allu Aravind who would be producing the film under their banners called Sri Venkateswara Creations and Geeta Arts respectively. Shahid Kapoor is yet to sign the dotted lines, but it is clear that he has increased his fee. The makers seemed to be in talks with the Kabir Singh actor but there is no official confirmation about his presence in the said movie. On the other side, we have seen Shahid Kapoor coming on the social media and thanking his fans for making his film Kabir Singh a big success.
